Project Sentinel assists with housing problems such as discrimination, mortgage foreclosure & delinquency, rental issues, mediation & dispute resolution, home buyer education, post purchase education and reverse mortgages.

211 California is the statewide network of local 211 information and referral providers, and is a collaboration of United Way of California and the California Alliance of Information and Referral Services (CAIRS).

Empowerment
Center

The Empowerment Center in Modesto offers services in a diverse cultural environment. Their programs peer support, and encouragement from peers in recovery. The Empowerment Center gives work shops to increase independence. This agency offers a variety of services related to treatment of serious mental illness and co-occurring substance abuse problems. They offer housing and volunteer and employment opportunities.

Turning Point

They provide intensive case management to 150 adults with serious psychiatric disabilities who are Medi-Cal eligible. Their primary focus in on the relationship they establish with those that they serve and how they can better assist them on their path of wellness and recovery.
