We believe that housing the homeless makes a more stable and vibrant community.

Our Mission

CICV's mission is to provide housing and supportive services to our clients in a respectful and empowering way. We assist eligible clients with entering our program and gaining housing solutions. Through case management CICV can help clients in improving the quality of their living situation and connecting them with services in our local community.

Our History

Our agency has been serving Central Valley residents for over 30 years.  In 1985 we opened our doors as the Stanislaus Community Aids Project with emphasis on serving the HIV community.  In 1995 we expanded to serve the homeless community and our name changed to the Stanislaus Community Assistance Project.

In 2012, under a new Board of Directors and new management, we evolved into Community Impact Central Valley.  We now serve the chronically homeless, low income disabled families, non-program housing, the HIV community, the disabled, and Veterans.

Serving over 250 individuals and families in Stanislaus, Merced and Tulare counties, CICV is proud to do our share in making the world a more positive place by helping the most vulnerable in our community.

We believe we can make a positive difference in our community through education, working with local, state, and federal agencies, and connecting our clients to the services they need to improve their lives.  With case management to better assist our clients in successfully transitioning from homelessness to stable housing; we strive to transform our community one house at a time.
